In collaboration with Heriot-Watt University Academics, I created a series of four family workshops focussed on current research and linked to items from Linlithgow Museum's collection.

In this workshop, participants learned about the different nutritional and remedial effects of herbs and fruits such as rosemary, ginger and basil. We discovered that the first ever fizzy drinks were sold in pharmacies and treated more like medicines than sugary treats. Using the learning and following our senses, we designed and created our own fizzy drink using home-made, natural and medicinal syrups. We then created a label for our drink using the technique of lino printing.
