What we do at club gozo
Club gozo is a place for curious hands and imaginative minds. Led by artist educator Jen Collier (PGDE), through process-led artmaking, children explore a wide range of materials, working independently and collaboratively within themed four-week blocks that invite experimentation, shared ideas and creative discovery in a calm, welcoming after-school studio space at Clincart Church.

What happens in a typical session?
Sessions are process-led and gently structured around a four-week theme. Children explore a wide range of materials, from paint and print to collage and mixed media, working both independently and collaboratively in a relaxed studio setting.

Do children need to be “good at art”?
There's no such thing at club gozo! We focuses on curiosity, experimentation and creative confidence rather than finished outcomes. All artistic styles are enthusiastically welcomed.

Are materials included?
Yes. All high-quality, non-toxic materials are provided within the session fee. We have a strong focus on sustainability at studio gozo so expect a lot of creative use of cardboard and food packaging!

How do bookings work?
Bookings are made per four-week block. Payment secures your child’s place, followed by a short registration form.

What should my child bring?
Comfortable clothes suitable for art-making, water bottle and a snack. Aprons are provided, but creativity can be wonderfully messy.

How many children are in each group?
Maximum 10 in the P1-4 session on Mondays and maximum 13 in the P5-P7 session. Groups are intentionally small to ensure individual attention and a calm, supportive atmosphere.

What happens if my child misses a session?
As sessions are block-based and materials are prepared in advance, missed sessions are non-refundable. However, we’ll always share what we can so children can feel included in the ongoing theme.
